    1. I had just sharpened that particular knife actually before promptly slicing my finger open 😁 But I think you’re right though, a sharp knife means a cleaner cut that heals better and less painful than if you cut yourself with a dull knife

    1. I’m pretty sure I did need stitches, but since the bleeding stopped before the wait for the doctor was over, we pretty much just bought some anti-bacterial ointment and bandages and went home. I’m not the most patient of patients πŸ˜‚

      1. That’s what I did when I sliced a big hunk out of my thumb last year. I did have to go in a tetanus shot the next day, and my doc was all like “you really should have come in and gotten it stitched but it’s too late now.” Which was exactly what I intended – I REALLY didn’t want stitches.

  1. That looks painful😦. Take good care of that cut. I’ve cut my fingers a handful of times. And I hate it because that means it will hurt if citrus or salt get into it. πŸ˜’
