Packed to The Rafters

There’s nothing quite like a road trip to spend a whirlwind weekend with the whole family, especially if the trip in question is to celebrate the High School graduation of the eldest (and therefore favorite) nephew. There was a lot of talking, a lot of beautifully sumptuous food, too many cups of tea and very little sleep packed into those few days in that packed-to-the -rafters house and every moment was more memorable than the last. With the amount of people and celebrating going on in that house it felt more like a wedding than a graduation to be honest!

It was an awesome weekend is what I’m saying, despite the stormy weather.

All good things must come to an end though and no matter how great the last few days were, it’s good to be home! Peace and quiet how I missed thee!

Now if I could only convince my muse to return from the vacation she seems to have been on since Spring….
