Mini Mondays: Which Door Would You Choose?

Is it Monday again? Really?

Sigh.

Well, at least there's one thing Mondays are good for: dreaming about escaping to a fantasy world with castles and forests and not a laundry hamper in sight. I mean, I'm sure people in these worlds wash their clothes and all, but it never seems to impinge on their daily dose of adventures and dragon slaying.

When was the last time the ruggedly handsome hero stopped mid battle to fold laundry? Or the snow queen take a break from casting spells to wipe her toddler's snotty nose? I'm sure they do these mundane tasks just like the rest of us, but unlike us (or me at least), they actually have a life beyond these chores.
So yes, I wouldn't mind opening the door to a fantasy world and gleefully abandoning my housework to go battle Balrogs instead. The only problem? Choosing which fantasy world to disappear into. Will it be happy Narnia? Or magical Hogwarts? Or psychedelic Wonderland? Or maybe heroic Middle Earth? So many amazing choices, so little time to day dream about them all!
Which door would you choose?

    1. Middle Earth is definitely high up on my list as well, given it’s the first fantasy world I really immersed myself in 🙂 Would you prefer Lothlorien, the Shire, Rohan or Gondor though?

      1. Hmmm, now that is a much tougher question… I love all of them pretty much equally. That said, if absolutely forced to choose, I’d say Rohan. Mainly because Theoden and Eowyn are among my favorite of the supporting characters. The Shire being an extremely close second, for the same reason. Merry and Pippin are among my favorite of the main-supporting characters
